Encouraging startups through Pertamuda 2024 program

The Student Affairs Division of UNY on Wednesday (4/9/2024) in the Main Session Room of the UNY Senate received a visit from PT Pertamina consisting of 3 people, namely Ms. Amelia, Ms. Dorothea, and Mr. Prasetyo. The purpose of the visit from Pertamina this time was to socialize the Pertamuda 2024 program: the largest student Business Idea Competition for startup startups.

Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) Singapore students learn Indonesian culture at UNY

The Overseas Education and Learning Program (OELP) from Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) Singapore allowed students to learn about Indonesian culture, including gamelan and batik at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) on Wednesday (4/9). Previously, they also visited Prambanan Temple.

Strengthening Partnership Synergy with Industry

Higher education needs to improve synergies with industry. This cannot be separated from the fact that the problems that arise in the industry are actually very numerous and can become research material. To build good and mutually beneficial synergies, it is necessary to change the mindset of lecturers so that they can understand the work culture of the industry and at the same time open up opportunities for lecturers to carry out activities in the industry. This event aims to provide information to new students about various campus organizations and services.

To Introduce Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) activity, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta  held an achievement exhibition in which there was a display of Student Activity Units (UKM). This achievement exhibition was held at GOR UNY on Wednesday (07/08/2024) and was attended by 42 UKM in the fields of reasoning, sports, arts, and welfare / specialty. This achievement exhibition aims to introduce UNY student organization activities, profiles, latest achievements, and new member registration procedures that are attractively packaged.

Garuda UNY Team Ready to Compete in Shell Eco-Marathon Asia Pacific and Middle East 2024

From July 2 to 6, 2024, a global community of student innovators will gather at Mandalika International Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara to take part in the prestigious Shell Eco-marathon Asia Pacific and Middle East 2024. The competition is a platform specifically designed to promote green vehicle technology, with the main objective of encouraging innovation to address global climate crisis issues.

Reflection on 16 years of Museum Pendidikan Indonesia (MPI) and efforts to develop museum services

Museum Pendidikan Indonesia (MPI) celebrated its 16th anniversary by holding a workshop entitled 'MPI UNY: Past, Present, and Future' in the cinema room. July 8, 2024.

"Museum Pendidikan Indonesia (MPI) is the first educational museum established by a university. MPI was established by UNY leaders in 2008. Garuda UNY Eco Team won second place at the Shell Eco-marathon Asia-Pacific and Middle East 2024 held at Mandalika International Circuit, Indonesia in the Urban Gasoline category. This achievement adds to the Garuda UNY Eco Team's series of achievements in vehicle energy efficiency competitions at the international level.
